First, add a dedicated thinner matching your ink type in small batches, stir thoroughly, and measure viscosity with a professional viscometer until it hits the standard (25–35 seconds via Zahn Cup No.4 for offset printing). Avoid over-adding to prevent color fading or poor ink adhesion to substrates.

Second, reduce pressure between the printing plate roller, offset blanket, and ink rollers to curb ink extrusion and spreading, then run a test print for precise fine-tuning.
